*Waves at comm*
I was super excited to discover this comm exists. I just listened to the latest Amnesty episode and thought it might be fun to discuss it here.
My thoughts:
It's so nice to have the three of them starting a hunt again! I tend to find the individual scenes a little draggy, maybe because there's less comedy in them? But this finally felt like the TAZ energy I've come to know and love. <3
I hope Dani gets more airtime in this arc. She is often mentioned but I don't have much of a sense of her as a character and would like tofor fanfic reasons.
The "Chicago" bits cracked me right up.
I am confused about the neck wound situation. It's being set up that Dani will be suspected, but the witness (or maybe police?) descriptions made it sound as if a large chunk of flesh had been removed from the victim's neck, which I would think lay people wouldn't associate with vampires (don't vampires just make two delicate fang-holes?). Am I misunderstanding the description? Or vampire lore?
Really interested to see how things escalate with the Hornets, and with more people in town knowing about the Abominations. Hollis did have a point that keeping townspeople in the dark might not be as ethical a choice as the Pine Guard believes it to be.
What did you think? What are your hopes and dreams for this arc? What moments stood out to you?
